Who can take part

  • You must have a neuromuscular disorder (a condition affecting your muscles or nerves).
  • You must be able to understand the questions and give consent.
  • You must be able to walk at least 10 meters (about 33 feet) without help from a person or a walking aid.
  • You have NOT had knee, hip or back surgery in the last 3 months.
  • You do NOT have polyneuropathy or peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage that causes numbness or weakness in your hands or feet).
