- You have cancer of the voice box (larynx) or the area just below it (hypopharynx) that has spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes but not to distant parts of the body.
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You are in good enough health to do daily activities (like light housework or office work).
- Your organs (like kidneys, liver, and bone marrow) are working well enough to handle chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation.
- You do not have any other cancers.
- You do not have any medical reasons that would prevent you from receiving immunotherapy.
