Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with very high-risk MDS using a scoring system called IPSS-M.
  • You have a stem cell donor who is a good match (related donor at least half-match, unrelated donor at least 80% match).
  • You are generally healthy with good liver, kidney, heart, and lung function.
  • You are able to give written informed consent.
