Who can take part

  • You have a small tear in your rotator cuff tendon (less than 1 cm long and not more than half the thickness) confirmed by ultrasound.
  • Your shoulder pain has been waking you up or disturbing your sleep for at least a month.
  • You are between 40 and 75 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 30.
  • You are not taking certain medications like antibiotics (fluoroquinolones), sleep aids, antidepressants, or antipsychotics.
