Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You had a stroke from bleeding in the brain (intracerebral hemorrhage) that started within the last 6 hours.
- The bleeding is in a specific deep part of the brain (basal ganglia) and is less than 50 mL (about the size of a small egg).
- Your top blood pressure number (systolic) is above 140 when you first get to the hospital.
- You are not on blood thinners, do not have a bleeding disorder, and are not pregnant.
