Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a diagnosis of MDS/MPN overlap syndrome (a specific blood cancer) that needs treatment because of symptoms like low blood counts, an enlarged spleen, or feeling very tired.
  • You must have good liver and kidney function, and be able to walk and care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2).
  • You cannot have had your spleen removed, or have active infections, serious heart problems, or other active cancers.
  • You must not have evidence of acute leukemia (more than 20% blast cells in your bone marrow or blood).
