Who can take part

  • Age 2 to 25 years old
  • Diagnosed with a slow-growing brain or spinal cord tumor (low-grade glioma) that has certain genetic changes (like NF1 or a BRAF fusion, but not the BRAF V600E mutation)
  • Able to swallow pills whole (not through a feeding tube)
  • No prior chemotherapy or radiation for this tumor
  • Acceptable blood counts, heart function, and kidney function, and no active infections like HIV or hepatitis
