Who can take part
- You or your sister must be between 21 and 40 years old (donors need to be 21–35).
- If you are the donor: you have regular periods, have had at least one healthy baby, and have two ovaries.
- If you are the recipient: you have gone through early menopause and are in a committed relationship with a male partner.
- Donor and recipient must be genetic sisters (that means you share the same parents).
- Donors must be willing to donate one ovary through surgery, and recipients must be willing to receive the transplant and take immune-suppressing drugs.
- Both the recipient and her male partner must meet health and legal requirements, including normal semen analysis and legal advice about third-party reproduction.
