Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 80 years old
  • You have had a stroke
  • You score above 22 on a memory and thinking test (MMSE)
  • You are willing to participate and sign a consent form
  • You do not have open wounds or skin problems on your neck
  • You are not allergic to kinesiology tape
  • You are medically stable
  • You do not have a primary esophagus condition (like achalasia or upper esophageal sphincter dysfunction)
