Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 50 years old.
  • You are either generally healthy OR have at least 3 heart-disease risk factors (like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, being overweight, smoking, prediabetes/diabetes, or family history of heart disease).
  • You are not currently taking high-dose statins or PCSK9 medications (like Repatha or Praluent).
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or needed a procedure to open blocked arteries.
  • You have not taken blood-thinning medications (like aspirin, Plavix, or Eliquis) in the last 14 days.
  • You are not pregnant, and do not have serious kidney, liver, or other chronic conditions.
