Study of baxdrostat plus dapagliflozin for heart risk in type 2 diabetes

Heart Failure

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study tests whether a new drug called baxdrostat, when added to the diabetes medicine dapagliflozin (Farxiga), can prevent heart failure and heart-related death in people with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and existing heart or blood vessel disease. You may be able to join if you have type 2 diabetes, heart or blood vessel disease, high blood pressure, and at least one extra risk factor for heart failure.
