Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old
- You have a pituitary tumor that is at least 2 centimeters wide
- You are scheduled for endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery (surgery through the nose)
- Your body’s natural stress hormone system (HPA axis) is working normally before surgery
- You do not have Cushing's disease or adrenal insufficiency
- You are not in an emergency or taking combined hormone therapy
