Who can take part

  • You have AML that came back or did not respond to treatment, or MDS with at least 5% blast cells in your bone marrow.
  • You are in fairly good physical condition (able to do daily activities without help).
  • Your blood cell counts, kidney, liver, heart, and lung function are within certain safe levels.
  • You have not had a stem cell transplant with active complications or certain other cancer treatments recently.
  • You are willing to use birth control if needed and are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
