Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You learned English at age 8 or younger
  • For stroke survivors: you had a stroke that caused a brain injury
  • You do not have other brain disorders like multiple sclerosis or dementia
  • You do not have a serious psychiatric condition or learning disability
  • You do not have uncorrected hearing or vision problems, metal in your body (for MRI), or claustrophobia (for MRI)
