Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea (more than 30 breathing pauses per hour).
  • You have not yet started any breathing machine (PAP) treatment.
  • You experience significant daytime sleepiness (score above 10 on the ESS sleepiness questionnaire).
  • You do not have serious heart, kidney, liver, lung disease, or active cancer.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the next year.
