Who can take part

  • You have a chronic subdural hematoma confirmed on a CT scan
  • Your first treatment plan is non-surgical (conservative care) based on symptoms
  • You have a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 14 or higher
  • Your mNIHSS score is 4 or lower, with no worsening symptoms between doctor visits
  • You have no planned primary surgery due to severe headache, major midline shift, or very short life expectancy
  • You can safely take medicine by mouth and consent can be obtained
