  • You are 18 to 80 years old
  • You have a serious injury (injury severity score between 16 and 50)
  • You have low blood pressure or a fast heart rate from bleeding
  • You can get the study drug within 3 hours of injury
  • You do not have a clotting disorder or autoimmune disease
