Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old
  • You have a spontaneous brain bleed (not from trauma) diagnosed within 4.5 hours of stroke symptom start
  • The bleed is not caused by blood thinners, clot-busting drugs, or an abnormal blood vessel/tumor
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or able to become pregnant (or this is handled according to the study rules)
  • Your brain bleed size is not larger than 60 mL (based on an imaging measurement)
  • You can be followed for 90 days and you are not joining another study
