Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have one leg amputated above the knee (thigh-level) due to injury, cancer, infection, or a birth defect.
  • You already plan to get a bone-anchored (osseointegrated) implant for your amputation.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 35.
  • You have trouble using a traditional socket prosthetic (such as pain, skin infections, or poor fit).
  • You do not have certain conditions like active infections, uncontrolled diabetes, or severe bone thinning.
