Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have stage IV non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to your bones and needs radiation.
  • You haven't had any previous cancer treatment (like chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy) for lung cancer.
  • If you have adenocarcinoma (a type of lung cancer), your tumor must not have certain gene changes (EGFR, ALK, ROS-1). Squamous cell cancer doesn't need this testing.
  • You must have at least one tumor that can be measured that is not in the bone.
  • Your performance status is good (ECOG score of 0 or 1), meaning you are fully active or only slightly limited.
