Who can take part

  • You are between 45 and 60 years old.
  • You had a stroke (not caused by bleeding) more than 6 months ago.
  • You can walk with someone watching (Functional Ambulation Category score of 3).
  • Your memory and thinking are good (score of 25 or higher on a mental exam).
  • You do not have epilepsy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or other dementia.
