Who can take part

  • You are a healthy adult with a normal body weight (BMI between 18.5 and 25).
  • You are classified as ASA 1, 2, or 3 (a general health rating from your doctor).
  • You are able to lie on your back with one arm accessible for the test.
  • You do not have any muscle or nerve diseases, severe liver or kidney problems.
  • You are not taking medications like magnesium or aminoglycoside antibiotics.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and are not having emergency surgery.
