Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have an autoimmune disease like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, Sjogren's, sarcoidosis, vasculitis, myositis, Still disease, or Sharp syndrome.
  • You have voice changes (dysphonia), like hoarseness or a weak voice.
  • A doctor has found a lesion on your vocal cords or larynx during an exam.
  • Your voice problems are not caused by a neurological issue (like a paralyzed vocal cord) or cancer.
  • You have not had radiation to your neck or been intubated (a tube placed in your airway for breathing help).
