Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have a tracheostomy (breathing tube in your neck) and are breathing on your own.
- Your oxygen levels are good when breathing through a mask (oxygen above 94% and a good ratio of oxygen in your blood).
- Your heart and blood pressure are stable, and your blood pH is 7.32 or higher.
- You are not pregnant, do not have bleeding disorders, and have no recent fractures in your skull or face.
