Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and comfortable reading English.
  • You need to have had an acute pulmonary embolism that affected your heart or showed up on a scan or blood test.
  • If you have an irregular heartbeat like atrial fibrillation, it should be under control (resting heart rate below 110).
  • You must be taking a prescribed blood thinner (anticoagulant).
  • You must be able to walk and have access to email or text messaging for daily messages.
