Who can take part
- You have Parkinson's disease diagnosed by a doctor.
- You have depression that is moderate to severe (a score of 15 or more on a depression questionnaire).
- You experience moderate to severe freezing of gait (your feet feel stuck when walking).
- Your freezing of gait does not improve with Parkinson's medications.
- You are not currently taking certain other antidepressants or MAO-B inhibitors (like rasagiline, selegiline, or safinamide).
- You do not have severe liver or kidney problems, dementia, or a psychotic disorder.
