Who can take part

  • You must have acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that is high-risk, has come back after treatment, or is not responding to standard therapy.
  • Your age should be between 15 and 65 years old.
  • Your heart, kidneys, and liver must be working well enough for a stem cell transplant.
  • You should not have an active infection like HIV, hepatitis B or C, or uncontrolled other infections.
  • You must not have another cancer that was treated in the last 3 years, and you should not have serious brain or nerve conditions like seizures or stroke.
  • You should be willing to use contraception if you could become pregnant or father a child.
