Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older.
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- Your eye exam shows diabetic eye disease that is not yet severe (non-proliferative stage).
- Both eyes have some blocked blood vessels (non-perfusion areas) on a special scan.
- You have not had any laser treatment for your eyes before, or injections into the eye in the last 3 months.
