Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and in the intensive care unit (ICU)
- You are expected to stay in the ICU for at least another 2 days
- You are on a breathing machine or high-flow oxygen (Optiflow)
- Your heart rate is stable (above 50 beats per minute) and you have no heart block without a pacemaker
- You are awake, not sedated, and able to answer questions about your sleep
- You do not have a serious brain condition (like stroke, tumor, or dementia) or a major psychiatric disorder
