  • You must be 65 years old or older.
  • You are scheduled for a planned (not emergency) spinal surgery.
  • Your overall health is stable or well-managed (classified as ASA I, II, or III).
  • You do not have a diagnosis of delirium (sudden confusion) or dementia (memory loss).
  • You are able to understand the study and give your consent.
