Who can take part
- You have a type of thyroid cancer called differentiated thyroid carcinoma that is locally advanced (growing into nearby tissues) and is considered hard to remove completely with surgery.
- Your cancer is either newly diagnosed or has come back after treatment.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are in good enough health to be up and about (able to care for yourself, but not necessarily able to do heavy work).
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- Your major organs (heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, etc.) must be working normally.
- You must not have had radiation to the neck before, or treatment with lenvatinib or immunotherapy.
