Who can take part
- You have differentiated thyroid cancer (like papillary or follicular) that has been confirmed by a biopsy.
- Your cancer is locally advanced and cannot be fully removed by surgery right now – doctors think there's a high chance some cancer would be left behind.
- You are 18 or older and in generally good health (able to do daily activities with little or no help).
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan (like a CT or MRI).
- You have not had radiation to the neck before, and you have not taken lenvatinib or immunotherapy drugs in the past.
- You do not have active bleeding, autoimmune disease, or a need for long-term steroids.
