Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for a standard lung sampling procedure (EBUS-TBNA) because your doctor thinks you may have sarcoidosis.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You do not have diabetes, kidney failure, liver disease, or other ongoing chronic illnesses.
  • You have not taken steroids, disease-modifying drugs, or immunosuppressants in the last 3 months.
  • Your final diagnosis is confirmed as sarcoidosis (the trial will review this after the procedure).
