Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have sudden sensorineural hearing loss (hearing loss that happens quickly and is due to inner ear or nerve problems)
- You must not have an active infection or other problem in your outer or middle ear
- You must not have had a past skull fracture from an injury
- You must not have had ear surgery in the past
- You must not have other neurological symptoms, like balance issues or facial weakness
