Who can take part
- You have severe circulation problems in your leg that put your limb at risk (Rutherford 5).
- The blocked artery in your lower leg (anterior or posterior tibial artery) has a blockage at least 10 cm long.
- You are 19 years or older.
- You do not have a sudden blockage (acute limb ischemia).
- You can take blood thinners safely (no recent bleeding or low platelet count).
- If you are a woman, you are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
- Your life expectancy is more than one year.
