Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis).
  • Your shoulder pain is greater than 5 on a 0-10 scale.
  • You do not have other shoulder problems like a rotator cuff tear or broken collarbone.
  • You are not allergic to numbing medicines (local anesthetics).
  • You have not had shoulder surgery in the last year.
  • You are not pregnant, and you do not take blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder.
