Who can take part
- Be at least 40 years old (healthy controls must be 40-70).
- Have a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, ALS, or related genetic condition, or be a healthy volunteer.
- Be able to lie still in a scanner for up to 90 minutes.
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and use birth control if needed.
- Not have metal implants or claustrophobia that would prevent an MRI.
- Not have a history of drug or alcohol abuse in the past 2 years.
