  • You had a successful heart valve repair procedure.
  • You need to take a blood thinner (anticoagulant) for a long-term condition.
  • You are willing to follow the study's treatment plan and give written consent.
  • You do not have severe kidney problems or active bleeding.
  • You have not had a stroke or mini-stroke in the last 6 weeks.
  • You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
