Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You had brain surgery for a bleeding stroke (intracranial hemorrhage).
  • You are awake enough to follow commands (GCS score 12 or higher).
  • You have type 2 diabetes or high blood sugar levels (fasting ≥ 7.0 mmol/L or random ≥ 11.1 mmol/L).
  • You are receiving nutrition through a feeding tube after surgery.
