This trial tests if strength training can improve calf muscle function in men who tore their Achilles tendon (up to 5 years ago) and had surgery. You cannot have done regular calf exercises recently or have certain health conditions.

Who can take part
- You are a man aged 18 to 64.
- You had a complete tear of one Achilles tendon within the last 5 years.
- You had surgery to repair the tendon (non-surgical treatment is not allowed).
- You have not done regular calf strength training in the last 6 months.
- You have not had ankle injuries, infections, or re-rupture since surgery.
- You do not have heart failure, autoimmune disease, diabetes, or take antibiotics/steroids long-term.
