Who can take part

  • You are currently in the ICU at the University Hospital of Antwerp.
  • Your illness is serious enough that doctors expect you to stay in the ICU for more than 48 hours.
  • You have an arterial line (a small tube in an artery for blood pressure monitoring and blood draws).
  • You or your family have given permission for you to take part.
