Freezing for 1 vs 2 minutes after Nuss surgery

  • You are getting Nuss surgery to fix pectus excavatum (a sunken chest).
  • You and your parent/guardian have agreed to the surgery and the study.
  • You are between 13 and 17 years old.
  • You have never had chest surgery before.
  • This is your first surgery for chest wall shape.
