Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 40 years old
  • You were diagnosed with type 1 diabetes within the last 6 months and started insulin within that time
  • You have at least 2 type 1 diabetes autoantibodies (signs the immune system attacks the pancreas)
  • Your blood sugar levels (HbA1c) are between 53 and 150 mmol/mol
  • Your body still makes some insulin (measurable C-peptide levels)
