Who can take part

  • You must have ARDS (a severe lung condition) as diagnosed by the newest guidelines.
  • Your age should be between 18 and 80 years.
  • Doctors expect you to live longer than 24 hours from screening.
  • You cannot have cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
  • You are not pregnant or recently gave birth, and you don't have severe mental health conditions that would prevent participation.
