Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had shoulder pain and stiffness for at least 2 months but less than 6 months.
  • An MRI shows signs of frozen shoulder, and a normal X-ray of the shoulder.
  • You have not had any surgery, cortisone shots, or similar treatments for this shoulder before.
  • You do not have uncontrolled high blood pressure (above 140/100), recent stroke, heart attack, or bleeding problems.
  • You are not taking blood thinners like warfarin.
