Who can take part

  • You are 20 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with shoulder impingement syndrome in one shoulder (based on symptoms and an MRI).
  • You have not had surgery or a broken bone in the affected shoulder.
  • You do not have a nerve or brain condition that affects the same arm.
  • You are willing to receive a steroid injection in the shoulder and come back for follow-up visits.
