Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have chest pain (stable or unstable angina), or evidence that your heart is not getting enough blood without symptoms, or you had a heart attack in the past.
  • You have one new, hardened (calcified) blockage in a heart artery that is up to 40 mm long and between 2.0 and 4.0 mm wide.
  • Your blockage is severely narrowed (at least 70% blocked) or moderately narrowed (50-69%) with proof that it causes ischemia (lack of blood flow).
  • You are willing and able to follow all study visits and procedures.
