Monitoring Arm Recovery After Stroke (MARS)

This study tracks how well your arm recovers after a stroke. You'll be monitored as you go through your usual rehab, and the goal is to better understand arm recovery patterns.

Who can take part

  • You have had a stroke.
  • Your affected arm is moderately weak (not completely paralyzed, but not fully functional either).
  • You do not have severe shoulder pain in that arm (more than a 3 out of 10).
  • You can sit without needing a high back support.
  • If you use a wheelchair, you can transfer to a chair with help from one person and your wheelchair backrest can fold down.
