Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes and take medicine to control your blood sugar (pills or insulin).
- You have nerve pain in your feet or legs that has been present for at least 3 months.
- You are willing to keep your current diet and exercise habits the same during the study.
- You are not currently taking blood thinners like warfarin, heparin, or similar drugs.
- You do not use tobacco, nicotine products, or more than 14 alcoholic drinks per week.
