IGF-1 changes after brain bleed and recovery

Insulin-Like Growth Factor I

Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study is looking at how a protein called IGF-1 changes in the blood after a brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage). Researchers want to see if these changes can help predict how well you will recover.

GLP-1 drug for brain bleeding in specific locations

This study tests whether a GLP-1 receptor agonist (a diabetes/weight-loss medication) can help reduce brain damage and improve recovery after a specific type of spontaneous brain bleed. The medication may reduce inflammation and protect brain tissue in the early hours after bleeding.
