  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with diabetes
  • You have a diabetic ulcer (a skin sore caused by diabetes)
  • You do not have an autoimmune disease
  • Your ulcer is not infected, and you do not have a bone infection (osteomyelitis) or poor blood flow (ischemia)
